Classify according to the information input method of robot controllers
When using this classification method for classification, there may be slight differences among different countries, but they can have unified standards. This mainly introduces the classification system adopted by the Japan Industrial Robotics Association (JIRA), the American Robotics Association (RIA), and the French Industrial Robotics Association (AFRI).
1) JIRA classification system. The Japan Industrial Robotics Association divides robots into six categories: manual operators, sequencing robots, variable sequencing robots, repetitive robots, programmable robots, and intelligent robots. Among them, intelligent robots can use sensing information to independently detect changes in their working environment or working conditions, and use their self decision-making ability to successfully carry out corresponding tasks, regardless of any changes in the environmental conditions in which they perform tasks.
2) RIA classification method. The American Robotics Association considers the last four machines in the JIRA classification system as robots.

The design of a microprogram controller is convenient, with a simple structure and easy modification or expansion. To modify the function of a machine instruction, only the corresponding microprogram needs to be reprogrammed; To add a machine instruction, simply add a microprogram to the control memory, but it is done by executing a microprogram.
