GE ACC-5595-208 On site interface module
The PLC control system consists of the following parts. ACC-5595-208 mainly consists of four parts: the controlled object, sensors, controller, and actuator. ACC-5595-208, which are further divided into electronic, mechanical, software, and other factors, is a typical system structure.
Regarding the structure of the control system, ACC-5595-208 may experience faults in all aspects of the control system. However, it can be divided into the following three types as a whole: ACC-5595-208 refers to the fault of the controlled object, which means that a sub device in the controlled object cannot perform its function well; Instrument failure, ACC-5595-208 refers to the failure of sensors, actuators, and computer related interfaces in the control system; Computer software, including computer diagnostic programs and control algorithm programs, has malfunctioned.
Fully and reasonably utilize software and hardware resources:
Instructions that do not participate in the control loop or have been put into operation before the loop may not be connected to the PLC;
When controlling a task with multiple instructions, they can be connected in parallel outside the PLC and then connected to an input point;
Try to utilize the internal functional software components of PLC as much as possible, fully call intermediate states, and make the program complete, coherent, and easy to develop. At the same time, it also reduces hardware investment and lowers costs;
If conditions permit, it is best to independently output each circuit for easy control and inspection, as well as to protect other output circuits; When a fault occurs at an output point, it will only cause the corresponding output circuit to lose control;
If the output is a load with forward/reverse control, it should not only be interlocked from the internal program of the PLC, but also measures should be taken outside the PLC to prevent the load from moving in both directions;
PLC emergency stop should be cut off using an external switch to ensure safety.
Other precautions:
Do not connect the AC power cord to the input terminal to avoid burning out the PLC;
The grounding terminal should be independently grounded and not connected in series with other equipment grounding terminals. The cross-sectional area of the grounding wire should not be less than 2mm ²;
The auxiliary power supply has a small power and can only drive low-power equipment (such as photoelectric sensors);
Some PLCs have a certain number of occupied points (i.e. empty address wiring terminals), do not connect the wires;
When there is no protection in the PLC output circuit, protective devices such as fuses should be connected in series in the external circuit to prevent damage caused by load short circuits.
